Beautiful Jenny. Do you use ordinary glue to stick the gold leaf on with.

Thanks to you and all the others for the nice comments. I am busy in France but have been out of the UK loop for a while, though I am still examining AS/A level there, so its nice to know I am on track. Re glue-no I use gilding paste for the leaf and acrylic medium for the glitter. I also use the Golden range of acrylics with mica added. Its important for longevity to use acid free products of artist's quality. The glitter is more difficult, but I have experimented with this and if displayed as you would a watercolour-ie no direct sunlight, these do not fade.
