Thanks very much everyone for your encouraging comments. I should perhaps have added that of all the versions I've done I am most happy with this one, but it is sometimes difficult to see past the faults we perceive in our own work, which is why feedback on POL is so useful. (Sylvia, we also have a large greedy heron regularly visiting our pond - it took half our fish last year and drives our dog nuts when it lands in our garden!)

But each one has its own uniqueness Jenny and you have tremendous skill and style. Don’t give up on it.
