A cricket? I love that technique Jenny, I do this when I want to get started. I'm at the stage now that I cannot find what to do :)

When I'm having trouble getting started on a new painting, I sometimes play around with acrylic ink and cling film. This seemed to resemble some sort of creature, perhaps a green bug or perhaps a tortoise.
