You've absolutely every right to be proud - you should have seen my first piece of work; well, no you shouldn't. No one should - I think we can safely predict a great future.

What a great start Jennifer. Like Louise I think the brush work of the foliage is excellent and also the bridge. Look forward to seeing your next painting.

Thank you for your lovely comments, it's all very well family saying nice things (they have to!) but when strangers take the time out, it really is nice to hear. This was indeed my first painting, I started a painting class in September 2010 and finished this, I think in November. I have done a couple more since then, so I will post them. Thank you again
