A great piece of work Jennifer you have really captured the true action, the spread of the fingers supporting the players thigh and the strain on the players face at the back and his hand placement all so correct for that situation smashing, nice one.

I think that watching so much rugby back in the 60's had something to do with it!! I was a Hockey player myself so I might try painting that next...

It was too hot to finish this earlier, but it's finished at last. As I was reflecting on the background greens, it reminded me of the Rhondda where I lived all those years ago. I went with my imagination and made it a Rhondda Ystrad Rugby scene from past memories.
