Lovely painting, beautiful composition.

Many thanks to you Romila.

Another very inviting woodland walk

That's rather more Kersey-like, because I know the painting which inspired it. It could pass for a road or path near to me - except that the Isle of Wight tends to have less managed verges (a point to remember if you're thinking of driving here - the hedges can come and get you). You've got the warmth of the original study, and of course that brighter bit of road where the light hits as it turns a corner or heads downhill. I particularly like the way you've let the foreground colours just bleed gently into each other, ensuring concentration on the deeper parts of the painting. Clever stuff!

Wow, Robert! Your comments are very much respected and treasured I assure you. Thank you so much for all of the advice.

Thank you so much Heather. I appreciate your comments always.

Another lovely painting.

This is so beautiful Jennifer. I love the way you’ve lit this and the undulating shadows.
