There's lots to like about this Lynne. I like the amount of detail you have in the faces so it works for me. I particularly like the bot in the far right.

Good movement and colour. A bit of mystery often helps a painting so I wouldn’t kill it with too much more detail

I also feel it works as it is. Let the viewer fill it in.

Thanks for your kind comments and suggestions! tweaked it a little but mostly left it alone. It's so hard knowing when to stop!

It's looking very good Lynne, I would have been pleased if I had painted it. I would personally rework the top white stipe on the left arm of the black and white shirt . To me at present it looks close to the window colour and gives me the impression that the boys upper arm is very thin. But perhaps it's just the reproduction. Great painting.

Thanks George! Yes I can see now what you mean about that arm. My eye is drawn to it now so will go back and tweak!
