That’s fab! I think your daughter has it just right! Great idea Jen.

A brilliant idea Jennifer,..if only! I've just noticed you're a fellow Mancunian. Best place! We might be neighbours :)

What an original idea, Jennifer.

Wow Jen this is fab! I'm still thinking about mine 🤔🤔

Thank you Tessa I do too. She's very smart for 13. Thank you Louise, im about a 20min bus ride from Manchester city centre, in Middleton. Thank you Mia. Thank you Margaret it's a hard one isn't it. As there are so many takes on it. I went more down the traditional route of taking 2 images and butting them together to make 1 image, altho I never knew this was called juxtaposition lol. You learn something new every day.

I think your daughter’s description is perfect, Jen. Very good.

That's brilliant Jen, your daughter's is too. Still working on mine..😚

Thank you Ellen and Lesley, it is a hard one isn't it lesley. You will get there in the end it's just getting your head around that initial idea. I think it's always been awful getting into town from your neck of the woods louise. I remember a few people when I worked in town, were constantly pulling their hair out with it. Trains never on time, cars jammed for hours arrgghh. Not good! I hated working in the city centre due to public transport, and I never had those problems, I don't know how people who do cope every day.

Spot on, Jennifer...and your daughter is too!

Great idea Jen, an interesting one!

Oh! My immediate impression was Guns N Roses....... Great sketch

Very good idea Jen, 😀

Another fantastic contribution to this crazy juxtapositional idea Jennifer.

Oh yes! Cracked it Jennifer :))

Great work, Jen, and a brill write up in the forum thread.

Thank you all, it's definitely a crazy one this time, full of a million possibilities.

Watercolour pen and wash on mixed media, 2 images butted together to make 1 image. I did call this love not war, but my daughter called it reap what you sow and i think thats much more fitting.
