There's certainly a touch of the Chinese about this, as Olga perceptively says - very delicate and beautiful painting in a medium so well suited to this sort of treatment. Brave, and effective, to leave the right of the painting to act as a foil for the left, without anything other than the gentlest gradation of colour. Good size, too - would look fabulous behind a cream mount, in a gold frame.
