Fabulous, loose painting, well placed darks, not a trace of mud, and instantly recognizable - excellent mixing of hard and soft edges; just about a perfect example of loose, wet in wet watercolour.

I really like this painting, great use of washes and layering techniques. Very nice.

this is lovely jane ...soft , ethereal...almost abstract yet instantly recognisable as hydrangeas.

This is lovely, you have caught the light and shadow beautifully.

I love the freedom of your style and how you have worked your colos here. Beautiful!

Robert , Paul, Kate, Carole, and A.F Branco ...thankyou all so very much for your positive feedback , i really appreciate your comments . Jane

What a beautiful delicate watercolour. The strong contrasts really make it stand out. Thank you tooJane, for your comment on my picture.

Your confidence in this difficult medium really shows. Well done. I wish I have the courage to do flowers. Thanks for your kind comment. Chi2

Jane i have always loved this painting, from the first i saw it. You really excelled with this one. So nice to see you here. Hope to see more of your work really soon. Lucia :)

avril thankyou so much chito hope you do start ..thankyou lots of trial and error thankyou and hello lucia ditto :) have just see more of you paintings thankyou .

Jane all praise is good and very welcome. Having seen your painting I value yours all the more! Why is this the only one?

My eye was immediately drawn to this falling away of flowers, the risk taker in you showing with the application and letting go of paint. A really emotive and energised painting that is breath-taking.
