Thank you all for your kind comments on my last post “burnt stick Charcoal” often a subject starts in my sketchbook and progresses to a larger sketch or painting or sometimes both. Water based oils on canvas; working from a black and white picture I used another colour portrait as reference for colours. Not sure if it’s finished yet I want to try glazing but need to find the technique and confidence to go at it. Anyone have any tips?
