I'm very pleased to say that Unison Pastels have picked this painting as the winner of their Autumn Painting Competition which come as a very big surprise to me. Also greatful for the prize of a small set of Landscape Pastels, this is the first thing I have ever won in my life.

Beautifully done Jimmy.

Beautifully done Jimmy.

Congratulations on your win, which is well deserved.

Many congratulations, Jimmy. This really is a stunning work. The prize is certainly well deserved!

Well deserved Jimmy. This is beautiful.

Well, thank you all for your comments they much appreciated. I have to say I did not send the image for any competition, it was only to say that in my opinion their pastels are probably the best on the market. I may be biased a little as they are made here in the beautiful surroundings of the Northumberland country side.

Congratulations Jimmy. A beautiful painting.

Well, a fine, fine endorsement of Unison pastels if ever there was one. I also use Unison AND Rembrandt, both of which I like very much. You painting is just great, Jimmy, with the autumn colours and understated greens working a treat. Excellent work. Bri
