A lovely alert position well caught.

Really good Jeannie and I like the unusual rear view

I love it! How did you do the texture? As the owner of two black Labs, I'm also impressed you managed to get her sit for so long.

A super painting

Love it.

Rosalind the texture is from the paper (NOT) and the paint. I didn't use granulating paint but I thought a bit of Luna black mixed in would have created a bit more texture, a thought for next time.

It absolutely does NOT look easy - this is a very clever and expert bit of watercolouring, with wonderful texturing. Congratulations on a very successful piece.

Great bit of painting and love the unusual back view

Beautiful.

This is a large watercolour A3 of my Labrador she was watching some deer from our garden. I had to keep the whole painting wet to avoid blooms or cauliflower so not too much dithering. It wasn't as easy as it looks and I was surprised by the amount I water I needed. A good lesson learnt.
