This is lovely. I love the colours.

Agree - it is lovely and so loose and clean with great colours - what is yupo ?

Lovely work. Like Norah says - what is yupo?

Thanks for the kind comments, Barbara, Norah and Thea. Yupo is a synthetic(plastic!) paper. Made popular by some amercan artists like George James and Taylor Ikin. I have had a lot of fun with it, it has a mind of its own as there is no absorbtion, however the pigments intermingle and the surface can be wiped just about clean! Produces spectacular effects, I use transparent watercolour but in much stronger consistency. Cheers, Jean

Enjoying the action that happens on this slick surface, now using a bit of gouache for strength to contrast with the transparent watercolour, great fun!
