One of my favourite operas. I write music myself in a modern classical manner. I love this image of the great pavarotti if im not mistaken? Ive tried to sing but constantly fail. I'll stick to composition, and painting ofcourse ha ha.

Thank you Michael, nice to hear from another opera buff. I was lucky enough to sing the role with Midland Opera in '98 and loved it. You are right of course, the great Pavarotti was my inspiration for this. Keep up the good work - the composing and the painting!! Joe

"In Leoncavallo's dramatic opera "I Pagliacci" (The Clowns), Immediately after finding his young wife is leaving him for her lover, Canio has to don make up and costume to go on stage and play the part of the clown. Here I have tried to show the character waiting to make his entrance.
