I like to experiment with different medias. I bought a box of pastels as it is easy to carry when painting outside. One day I saw an old dead tree which I thought would be right to paint with pastels. When I got home I was not satisfied with my drawing. I put it away and left it. After seeing paintings and comments from Kirstie I picked it up again and this is the result. The tree has been felt. Hence the title:"Memory of a tree"
