Gorgeous colours, and love the lemon really compliments the soft mauves, blue/ purple. Lovely.

This is really beautiful and I am amazed how many different shades of blue you have managed to get into the painting!

Thank you for your comments. This painting is a bit of a trial as I am using water soluble oil paints for the first time and it takes a bit of getting used to.I will persevere- watch this space!

Oil on board. 23cm x 30cm. These flowers and the lemon happen to be on my kitchen table in Germany. I just thought it would make a great still life so I maneuvered between the table ,chairs and window to set up the easel. Had to work fast as the light goes so early in winter
