Almond tree in church garden
oil on board 31cm x 38cm. So difficult to find an almond tree that is accessible to paint. They are always in fenced off gardens! I was lucky to find this one in the churchyard of a little hamlet in the mountains. As soon as the weather changes or the wind gets up all the blossom disappears so I knew I had to get this painting done now while the blossom is still on it!
