Thank you for your kind comments. This painting is my memory of the bluebell woods we used to play in as children and where my husband and I walked when we were teenagers, so it is a very emotive piece for me. It is from my memory so that was why I decided to paint it in an impressionist style, its a very long time ago since I visited it, quite a few decades in fact, so I cannot remember the detail! <br />I felt pleased that I had captured my feelings of the place and even more pleased when, unprompted, my niece said it reminded her of the same area (she still lives in the area).

So beautiful ... Every time I look at it I see something new. Looks like you could walk right into it. I treasure the your watercolor but this is spectacular.
