Great snow scenes, both of them. Beautiful colours.

Very well painted Janet, the support to the gate does point towards the bottom left corner of the painting, which I was always taught to avoid (draws the eye out of the picture). I think the background foliage works very well.

thanks a million for all these wonderful comments.....have inspired me to keep painting and Stephen......very good point and well noted....but cannot this be seen in reverse....i.e. going up INTO picture?? Not been painting long and open to all suggestions. thanks again.
