Silver with Plums by Jane Palmer

All your fruit series of paintings are brilliant, but the addition of the silver tankard moves this one to new heights. Just fantastic!

Oh wow this is impressive; the reflections in the tankard are brilliant. Any idea what sort of plums they are?

I have never been a great fan of still life. I prefer landscapes and have so far used the argument that I can sit for ages looking at an interesting vista or a good landscape painting without tiring of it - what is round the bend? - who lives there? - what sort of a community is it? etc etc But who wants to stare at a bowl of prunes for hours on end? Well your series of paintings are making me question my own wisdom - or lack of it - this is a superb study - congratulations.
