This is so lively and atmospheric, Jamie. I love the bleeding of the pen into the paint. Nice view too!

Fabulous pen work Jamie, it looks great where it has bled.

The ink bleeding works well; I like the composition here too, and that dominant tree on the right of the path, with the well-drawn buildings beyond. A touch more tonal contrast? Especially the shadow across the path - it would have helped strengthen the painting, I think - but I can understand if you felt that introducing strong darks might have unbalanced it. You have scope here for a number of different studies in differing lighting conditions, time of year etc .... appeals to me as an idea, anyway: but you might be one of those who just wants to forge on to the next painting! Each to his own.
