I love the contrasts and the colours! Wish I had a separate place for my painting, you are very lucky. Good luck with the digging up pots of gold ;o)

I love the contrast you've captured here Jamie, 'out of the darkness into the light'. Beautiful bright golden tones in your trees and on the summer house. Perhaps it's an omen ie what you produce in your studio will give you that pot of gold! I've left a comment on 'High & Dry' re my painting sales.

I, like Carole would love a place to paint, indeed gold at the end of your rainbow.

Thank you all for your comments. I hope that your wish to have a place to paint comes true as mine did. We have just recently moved from a 1 bedroom flat (3 of us and a dog), where we lived for the past 7 years (I lived there for 11 years). It was extremely cramped and I had to make use of a drwaing board on my knee most of the time. Now we have a 3 bedroom house - nothing elaborate but worth the wait. I am very grateful for my lot and wish the same for everyone who needs somewhere bigger. All the best.

Hi Jamie, re: 'High & Dry', if you would like to foot the bill for the postage......it's yours.

Great picture and what a lovely studio you have there :)

Difficult one to do but a small quick one of the rainbow which seemed to end in my studio - from the angle I was looking at it - done a few weeks back when I wasn't in so much pain - just gotten around to putting it on. As we all know - pots of gold move around a lot. It was amazing the contrast between the outside darkness and internal light of the rainbow.
