Great drawing James, your lovely loose lines effortlessly capture the scene, the expressions on the faces, the stance of each indicating their thoughts on why they are there, a perfect moment in time and the sepia colour wash just adds to it

You got it bang on James! Love the style & yes the faces are brilliant!

speia ink with nib pen and wash on mountboard. I spent many years observing people in this situation, sometimes amused, sometimes irritated. I guess you could call it a cathartic drawing. Technically I wasn't sure how far to go with the wash or simply leave it as it is. I felt too much might detract, or maybe I'm just lazy!
