Good contrast between the foreground and distant skyline, the Sail structure is very eye catching isn't it.

I've done many drawings,sketches and a few paintings in this are, not far from where I live.I never tire of it, always familair but constantly changing. The mud flats in winter attrrat Turnstones, Brent Geese, Oyster Catchers to say nothing of the ubiquitous Carrion Crows. The reds and ochres of the foreground beach are comprised of broken brichs as well as old flint and shingle. Dark forms emerge from the mud, exposed by the outgoing tide. In the distnance centre horizon more dredging to deepen the chanel for the new aircraft carriers
