"Frankie" after Boris Karloff in Acrylics. My first attempt in this medium and really my first painting. I am self taught and the drying time of Acrylics certainly gave me the run-around not to mention a steep learning curve! I always feel the need to produce something of merit, however small and I think I captured some of the sadness of the creature, so brilliantly portrayed by Mr Karloff in the original 30's promotional photo. Still a 'Work in Progress' but then arent they all?
