Lovely colours in this and bet it looks even better in "real life" because of the added texture.Well done.

My My My James - you certainly have a lot of work posted here. I have to agree with Val a lovely acrylic and wonderful colours. Sorry I haven't got back to you earlier I have been away. I use Conte a Paris soft pastels and Unison. Conte a Paris are very bright and do not leave as much loose powder as Unison. Colourfix paper is great and fixing is not usually necessary. Hope this helps. I would like to thank you very much for your very kind comments on my work they are very much appreciated. Jeannette

Diana Hudson Wrote: A very colourful gallery and distinctive style;I like this one particularly. Is it acrylic? There have been so many new posts today I missed all the others. Hope you don't mind if I suggest that if you want to encourage feedback on your work, you post only a couple a day so people get more chance to see them and more time to comment on individual pieces.

Hi james love the colours in this. I can't recognise the tissue and netting from my pc picture but it sounds really interesting. Lovely photos on your blog, too.

Judith thank you for your comments. James

I used tissue paper for the foreground trees, and orange netting for the foreground, to produce a texture ground, done on 16 x 12 canvas board.
