Well, it's springing, eventually - the daffs and primroses are, at last, out in strength; but everything is a month or so behind schedule, and it's still perishing cold out of the sun. Which is why I'm indoors in front of a keyboard and next to the gas fire....

Lovely painting. He is not very old is he? My son has just got a Cocker Spaniel all black. She is six months now and just as perky as yours. Lovely pastel work. Jx

Jean: Thank you for your comment. The dog is a Springer Spaniel who belongs to Suzanne Murphy, and he appears in the May issue of LP Page 33. I was captivated by his Expression so I decided to have a go at a pastel painting of him.. your son has made a good choice of Dog..
