Great composition James, as already mentioned, but the joy of the piece is in the textures and variations of marks…..love the seed heads.

Another step towards a looser style. Prawle Point in South Devon — one of the demonstrations in Chris Forsey’s excellent book ‘Mixed Media Landscapes and Seascapes’. Painted with oil pastels, watercolour and acrylic ink on cold-pressed paper.
