Thank you David, Spencer, Chris, Christine and Heather. The subject and style is influenced by John Harrison (drawninyorkshire.com). I attended one of his workshops last year. He often leaves areas unpainted, such as the edges of the ink drawing. Here it helps to emphasise the main subject.
