Great work James. Love the mark making and textures.

Thank you Heather and Spencer. One of my favourite art tutors is Robert Dutton, a professional landscape artist who uses a variety of media (pastel, charcoal, acrylic, etc) in an energetic expressive style which I greatly admire but, despite having attended his superb courses, I have struggled to emulate. This picture is the first I have felt reasonably happy about.

Know the place well, James. You’ve captured the essence of the fell with a free expression that does justice to a fine small hill.
