Very effective pencil work, Jacqueline, great, strong, colours

Love the different shades of pinks and purples Jacqueline. The colour of the background is also very effective.

These colours really pop and shout 'look at us', aren't we gorgeous. You've spent a lot of time on the feathering in the petals, I think? and they are lovely. I wonder why you chose a blue background. To my eye, that is the only thing that jars, but the choice is yours. Lovely work! Keep painting.

As a fellow lover of coloured pencils this is so nice to see Jacqueline. Your colours are wonderful with the variation of tones, very pretty piece. How do you like prismacolors? I haven't tried these yet.

I love the color scheme Jacqueline! Your work is beautiful. Your bio is similar to mine, except I only have one dog and one cat and one kid. Ha, ha, ha! But for starting late, I don't agree with you that you started too late to excel. I started at the age of 54 and I don't think it was too late. I have seen fine arts trained professional artists that wasted a lot of years of trying to be BIG ARTIST and FAMOUS or at least best selling. All this talk that you sometimes hear that you have to do this and that otherwise you're not artist but you're only painting pretty is other people's opinion. You can be creative at any age and you really don't have to measure yourself to anyone but yourself. Your art is awesome. Keep up the great work! Happy painting!
