I must confess Ivan, it does have some great lines and style to it which I love, and keep working on that expression, you'll get it right no doubt.

Thanks guys. Alan: the matter is that this face does not express the exact character I'm looking for. It has it's own individuality but I need something else. I'm trying this and that but it's always so elusive. Still, I keep trying.

Like it I do - she's a cracker. I do like the lines which look so right - yes the expression will come although I wuite the rather wistful one she has in this. would reduce so well in

Allright folks, a new girl we have here. I've got an idea for a new painting so I did some studies and that's one of them. The composition is mostly spot on but there's one little detail that's still unclear. It's the facial expression of the girl. The only thing I'm still not sure about. This one's looking nice but that's not exactly what I'm looking for. So the search for the perfect face continues, but I decided to share this study with the public anyway. Hope you like it.
