SEASCAPE (SUNSET)

Love the colour - the perspective, the boat and reflection. Smashing.

Love the view but this doesn't look like your usual work. Your sunsets usually sparkle but this looks much duller than usual. What happened? Is it the photograph? Hope you are not offended.

Thanks all....no not offended Diana...it's not a watercolour....it's acrylic.....its not as dark in reality, tried to lighten on edit fallicty...on pc..but made it look washed out...! also i tend to use many....many layer's of glazing..to get the desired effect....so may have overdone it, leaving it less transparent than usual. regards...irene.

Irene I love your work, I tried a lovely warm seascape after your style but I'm afraid it must be something you gain with experience, as mine wasn't a patch on yours.

Thankyou pam ,its nice of you to say...but i wasn't really too happy with this...but other folk seem to like it...so we can sometimes be too critical of our own work. if you have a gallery on here ...will pop in and take a peek!!! its probably full of lovely paintings. kind regards..irene.
