After seeing some of the paintings on here, I am a bit embarrassed to have joined. But the deed is done.

Don't be embarrassed Jackie - nothing wrong with this painting. I see you love texture, like I do. Well done. Perhaps you might like to join the Forum sometime where you can ask advice from other members and have your say as well. A lot can be learned from this site.

It would also be good if you let us know what medium you have used for each painting.

You Adele for your kind words and support! I use acrylics, and yes, I love texture ... Seeing the strokes, seeing the paint, it really catches my eye and pulls me in.
