Hi Ian, Just looked on the Gallery and found your portfolio ,they are great, you are good, love them all especially your grandson and yes he does look like he's full of mischief, I didn't know there are "Portrait Pastel's" I assumed they were all the same , allthough I wouldn't feel confident enough yet to try a portrait , Meercat's are the easiest for me yet ........Mavis Lord

Barney, Rhodesian Ridgeback & Dachsund cross, is my daughter's dog, they live on the Gold Coast in Australia. I painted this from a photograph, it was one of my first attempts at painting dogs, I soon realised that doggie hair grows in all different directions on the face and spent many agonised sessions trying to work out the hair growth direction so it would look natural.
