Love the dark shadow and the reflections on the car roof. I find it really hard to get a smooth deep dark over an area like this in watercolour. Did you mix it or is it a tube colour?

Stunning work! As Diana says the reflections in the car are really amazing and that deep dark brave shadow really sets off the piece.

As a painter from Yorkshire, I am amazed that you can get such good paintings from Lancashire subjects! I can never find anything worth painting there............. I eagerly await your interpretation of the sloping roof terraces at Colne and Nelson which seem to be the only places I can think of that have been built in such an odd way. I look at them whenever I go that way and wonder what can be made of them. Nice range of paintings. well done.
