Ahhhhhh a taste of home! An excellent painting. I love everything about it.

So it is. I live 5 miles down the road, Instantly recognisable. I've just done a series of 25 paintings of Cliviger (Burnley). Would love to know if you belong to any art group around there. But with northern bluntness can I politely ask you to post no more than 2 at a time because it pushes everyone else off the front page with no chance to get comments. When your portfolio is new they go onto the next page but if you are adding to an old portfolio they then vanish many many pages back and no one gets to see them. I know there's nothing on the site asking this so you had no way of knowing so don't feel bad but it's just what regulars do.

Lovely study, though I think I prefer your looser ones . As another Lancashire lass I would like to reiterate Diana's points above. Though would be good to see more of your stuff, one a once/ twice daily basis.

Fantastic drawing - great perspective. There is something very attractive about your work - you have all the detail there, but it never looks over worked. That's a skill in itself.

I agree with Thea. A very interesting painting and a beautiful sky.

Good Afternoon Diana, Thankyou for your kind comment. From now on I will surely keep to posting no more than two paintings at a time. I had no idea that doing so had the effect that you have described and I appologise! Kind Regards, Ian H. Parry.
