Yes Holger you have really caught the atmosphere in this one. The rocks reflect the soft light very well indeed. The figure gives a nice sense of scale. Also you have left the sun white which works very well rather painting it bright yellow, as is the common thing to do. I just hope you do not have to many early morning sunsets though. Or have you been to another planet?

The title is a little puzzling Holger.....but the painting is very good. The rocks are excellent even if they were a struggle. The colours are soft and muted, there is a lovely atmosphere to it all.

Ladies, Gents, thanks for the encouraging comments. Most of you have recognized, the title has a language error, I mixed up sunset and sunrise. It should show an "Early Morning SUNRISE". Sorry for the confusion I might have caused. As mentioned in my profile, I am also trying to improve my language skills.
