This is the view inland from the headland at Weybourne Beach. I didn't have time to sketch this scene first so it was important to focus my mind and visualise the painting I wanted to create, then try to hold that idea in my mind's eye as I painted. This technique enabled me to work quickly and decisively - which is always a good idea when working outside anyway. That windmill was a total gift, obviously.
