It would be wonderful to see this in the flesh, because silk painting invariably loses something when photographed. However, it's beautiful, as was your other recently posted painting, and I well see that it's becoming a passion; one of which I hope you never tire.

Thank you Robert. You are right in that the colours seem to glow and be more translucent and some of that is lost in photos. Do you have a special interest in silk painting? Mine are created using hot wax rather than gutta, so it is a blend of batik technique and painting.

These are really lovely. I also work using silk and a mixture of wax and gutta. Your use of colour is beautiful
