Never mind Helen, many of us have done that - I think - deleting portfolio. Also copying, but the masters did it and you learn from it. This is good however.

Nice and strong composition Helen! I like those splashy waves. I also deleted all of my 2014 paintings by accident yesterday. Never mind! Onwards and upwards:)

Takes ability to copy a painting, Helen. And to achieve such a lovely result is a testament to your own strength as an artist. It's lively and atmospheric. The waves are beautifully done. It's a super piece!

This is a skill, to copy somebody else's work. I like the light in this. It is spectacular!

I went to a pastel workshop this afternoon. I was a bit disappointed to find we were copying a painting. . .I prefer not to copy. However, I am quite pleased with the result. I had a mis-hap recently - instead of deleting one painting, I deleted my entire pastel gallery!
