This is a beautiful painting. I know the chapel, we were walking there one day and a piper, kilt and all, was piping a bride in for her wedding.

Thanks for all your positive comments. I was concerned that it was just to colourful for modern tastes and a little rough in execution, but it says what I wanted!!!

St Aldhelms chapel at dawn. A fscinating little 13th century (I think) chape lthat sits alone on the cliffs of Purbeck. It's also a long 2 mile walk in the dark to experience dawn there. SOLD
