Thank you Thalia. Definitely not a wasted trip though as I got several good pen and pencil sketches to work from (might put them up in the gallery) and at least one of my abandoned paintings might be worth working on further.

Just returned from a very wet holiday, painting en Plein Air In Cornwall. This little 8” x 10” oil sketch was the only painting I managed to finish between the frequent deluges.
