Lovley painting, Heather, very nice composition

This is again very well done, Heather. I often do pen and watercolour: depending of what is the most important part, the pen or the watercolour with just a few marks of pen, I think you can choose. I would call this a watercolour.

Another lovely study Heather. I usually put my pen & wash pictures in mixed media, then mention that they are pen & wash.

A lovely painting Heather and I like the shed one too. I think I would put it in mixed media, but when I first saw it I thought it was a watercolour. No help whatsoever really !!

I like this and your shed painting very much. I hope you have plenty of others to post. I would put this under watercolour, but as you have two different answers I suggest you put it in whatever category you feel best describes your painting....I dont suppose anyone's gonna be calling the Fraud Squad.

Thank you very much for these encouraging comments and the advice on category. I think since I have started putting these paintings under watercolour, I'll keep going with that and hopefully Paul is right about the fraud squad.

I did 'hellebore' at about the same time as 'shed' so thought I would upload it as well. Another thing I am not sure about is category. I think of this (and shed) as a watercolour as it was mostly watercolour but actually I used some pen, ink and wax, so should I really put it under 'mixed media'? Again, I'd welcome any thoughts. Thanks!
