Tug boats on the Tyne

This is lovely Harold, the water is a bit choppy by the look of it so you needed to have some darker cloud coming into the sky I think to support the water, gives a feeling that a storm maybe arriving, it works really well, the boats are beautifully painted

I love this! The tugs are so full of character - majestic somehow. The houses and the sky are beautifully done too. It brought a bit of a lump to my throat too because I knew my late father (who loved painting ships) would have enjoyed your painting so much.

Such a great painting, full of atmosphere, the water is almost incidental.
