As soon as I saw this piece of pine, I immediately wanted to paint a pine marten on it. Due to the various paintable surfaces I decided to paint the movement of a pine marten, appearing on the right, walking across your view, peeping at the viewer, then walking off with only the tail in view. I made this into wall hooks.
