Wymarana Dog

Since I can't begin to criticize your drawing, which is brilliant, I shall have to content myself with correcting your spelling, which isn't. It's a Weimaraner - named after Weimar in Germany, where the breed originated. See, I love dogs; and speak a bit of German; and - I'm a pedant.

We used to have a Weimaramer, called Blue Max (after his beautiful blue eyes when he was a puppy). This is a wonderful portrait showing the elegance of these wonderful dogs.

Gwen, I see you have put a blog post thanking a few people for comments, which is very nice of you. I don't know if you realise but when you put your first blog post, you then have to add a comment in the comment box yourself to start the ball rolling or no-one else can comment. It is an idiosyncrasy of the blog area.
