Good pose and expression, Gudrun.

Like it Gudrun- a sound composition with an interesting focal point on the face. The painted lines of the figure help it along well,

Thank you for your kind comments and appreciation. I did enjoy being out of my comfort zone.

As David has said, a great focal point has been achieved, I do love this style of work Gudrun.

Good work as ever, Gudrun. Your working method with coffee and vanilla swirls, sounds like one we should all adopt. A delightful way to spend an afternoon.

A great expression and pose.

A very interesting painting Gudrun, great smile and pose. Bet you enjoyed the biscuits too 😊

Superb expressive work again, Gudrun, no wonder she's pleased with it.

60x80cm oil on linen canvas. I had a brief today. I was going to paint my friend at Marshchapel Arts Exhibition, which continues until Monday. The aim was for likeness and energy. She was pleased with it as I have caught her in all aspects down to a T, apparently. The whole process, interpsersed with coffee and vanilla swirl butter biscuits was between 2-2.5 hours.
