Very original, Gudrun.

I like this very much Gudrun, I enjoy doing collagraphs. I use a coat of shellac over the plate, it lasts a little longer.

Thanks Fiona. Glad you like it. I use French polish to seal the paper. Do you still have your press?

Very interesting piece of work Gudrun. Much to my liking .

Hi Gudrun, yes I’ve still got my press. Looking forward to the winter months so I can use it more. I’ve done a few monoprints during the summer but not as many as I would like.

Beautiful. Love the splash of colour.

Some more thanks for your appreciation. I do like this challenge, because it is quite hard work!

25x35cm 288gsm. I have been developing my printing in response to the exhibition I saw at the British Museum of print work by Edvard Munch. I have used a collograph plate which degrades very quickly so its ability to produce a lot of good prints is limited. I like this aspect of it as I am not looking to mass produce prints, but seek to create unique art. The prints differ in their colours and the application of colours. The image was inspired and influenced by the choreographer Wayne McGregor.
